Nancy Pelosi mastered TruMP. When Dumb Don paraphrased Winston Churchill’s immortal words, assuring us that for a down payment of $5.7B, from Port Isabel in the Gulf of Mexico to San Diego in the Pacific, an Iron Curtain will descend across our continent, she said, “no.”
Churchill’s detailed prescriptions on March 5, 1946, in Fulton Missouri was one of the great policy lessons for American presidents. They used it for seventy years. But because, as Publius demonstrated since well before the 2016 election, our Dumb Dude cannot read or write, he has no idea what Churchill said that day. Or on any other day.
Nancy Pelosi, our once again House Speaker, wasted no time in showing America how to master Publius’ Trump Management Protocol (TruMP) for dealing with Dumb Don’s immense developmental challenges. Just say “no” and let Don’s intellectual incontinence take care of the rest.
Which it did.
How developmentally challenged is Dumb Don? During Don’s shutdown for Iron Curtain money, Publius flew in to JFK from Tokyo. U.S. Customs and Immigration, unpaid, abandoned customs inspections, giving all drug importers a free reign. Anyone could have walked right through with 20 kilos of cocaine, no questions asked.
This information must have been instantly communicated to all the Mexican cartels. Forget Don’s Iron Curtain. Instead, he invites you to import as much as you want, of whatever you want, whenever you want, through any American airport that you choose. El Chapo thanks you Dumb Don!
According to the Congressional Budget Office, Don also used his Iron Curtain shutdown to hit us up for $11B in costs, around twice what he wanted for the Curtain. Smart move Dude!
Then, when he was criticized for his Iron Curtain missteps by his allies on Fox News, he blasted on Twitter that Fox showed “even less understanding of the Wall negotiations than the folks at FAKE NEWS CNN & NBC!”
Really?
This gibberish from a guy who can neither read nor write?
And who, let us not forget, endlessly promised us that Mexican taxpayers would send a check for the full cost of his Iron Curtain. When he couldn’t show U.S. taxpayers the Mexican Iron Curtain check, he demanded that U.S. taxpayers foot the Iron Curtain bill.
Thanks Don! Especially since you have never paid a cent in federal income taxes!! Fine for the rest of us is it?
When Congress refused his Iron Curtain money, Dumb Don told Nancy on December 11th in front of a national TV audience, "I am proud to shut down the government for border security because the people of this country don't want criminals and people that have lots of problems and drugs pouring into our country … So I will take the mantle. I will be the one to shut it down. I'm not going to blame you for it."
Mastering TruMP, Nancy acceded to Don’s request to take the shutdown-for-Iron Curtain mantle. Don took it, and like everything else since he became President, he came up a zero (See Publius on President Zero).
Nancy showed how easy it is to master TruMP, something which everyone else in American politics seems to have missed.
As always with Don, he gets dumber still.
To get his Iron Curtain money, Don closed E-Verify and the immigration courts, cancelling 80,000 cases which now go to the back of the line. Thanks to Don, many of those caught here with illegal status will be here for way longer before their cases can be heard.
Let’s look at the numbers (which is unfair to Don because he can’t count any more than he can read this).
As Publius said a year ago in DACA Deficit Disorder (Duh), immigration courts can handle about 225,000 cases a year. That has since dropped to 195,500. Take the 809,000 cases now before the immigration courts and add the 1.7 million DACA and TPS cases that Dumb Don wants to throw in and we get over 2.5 million cases. These will take thirteen years to process. And that assumes that there are no additional immigration charges filed between now and 2032.
In other words, it assumes that Don shuts down all immigration arrests until 2032. Brilliant. Just brilliant.
The Dumb Dude is demanding an Iron Curtain while working like crazy to keep the undocumented on the U.S. side of the Curtain rather than on the Mexican side. He even employed hundreds of undocumented at his golf clubs until the fake media (with a little help from Publius) caught him doing this a few weeks ago and he was forced to dismiss them. Of course, this makes no sense. But, being so developmentally challenged, Dumb Don has no idea that he is doing everything imaginable to bring down his Iron Curtain.
